Prof Stuart Semple leads the Grants team at GrantTree, helping companies acquire substantial funding to turn cutting-edge research and development projects into game-changing, commercially successful products and services. An Emeritus Professor of Life and Health Sciences, he joined GrantTree in March 2023, having previously worked in academia for over 25 years. Stuart has extensive experience in bid writing and has secured over £40m in innovation grants and loans in the last 24 months. Outside of work, he has a passion for surfing, but his enthusiasm for riding waves is not always matched by his ability.
