After 15 years in the consumer insight industry, in 2014 Carl co-founded video technology business LivingLens. With offices in Liverpool, London, Toronto and New York, LivngLens raised £5m in equity finance over 5 years, and was bought in Feb 2020 by US Customer Experience leader Medallia for £20m. Since then, Carl has co-founded Liverpool-based tech accelerator, BalticVentures.uk. Now in its third year, Baltic Ventures has funded and supported almost 50 early-stage tech businesses across the UK so far.
